New whispers are swirling around Donald Trump and one of his closest White House aides: Natalie Harp. Harp, 34, is rarely the loudest person in the room. But inside Trump’s orbit, she has become one of the most visible and loyal figures at his side — in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One, before public appearances and even on the golf course.
Her job is simple, but powerful: keep Trump informed and help manage the constant flow of material that reaches the president.
Because Trump still likes to read on paper, Harp prints out articles, emails, social media comments and other material for him. She reportedly carries a portable printer with her almost everywhere.
That earned her a nickname inside Trump World: the “Human Printer.”
Brother Calls Relationship “Unhealthy”
Now Harp is back in the spotlight after new comments from her estranged brother, Preston Harp, 38.
He described his sister’s relationship with Trump as “unhealthy,” while making clear he was not suggesting a romantic relationship. Instead, he said he was disappointed that Natalie would work for Trump at all. Preston Harp, who now lives in Nicaragua, called the president a “national embarrassment.” He is estranged from his sister after a family dispute following the death of their father in 2020.
His comments have fueled new gossip in Washington about Harp’s extraordinary closeness to the president.
Natalie Harp: From Conservative TV To Trump’s Inner Circle
Harp previously worked as a conservative TV personality, including at Fox News and One America News Network.
She has also said Trump helped save her life. Harp suffered from bone cancer and credited Trump’s first-term push to expand access to experimental medical treatments with giving her another chance.
That personal story helped bring her closer to Trump’s political world. She later became one of his most devoted aides.
In the new insider book “Regime Change,” New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan describe Harp as one of the most loyal people around Trump.
According to the book, she acts as a kind of gatekeeper for the information that reaches him.
A Powerful Role In Trump’s Media Machine
Harp also reportedly plays an important role in Trump’s social media operation.
The book claims she helps select sharp memes, right-wing articles and attacks on Democrats that Trump then amplifies online. That gives her influence over the tone and timing of some of Trump’s most aggressive public messages.
She is also described as quietly present in key moments — laptop open, listening, ready to carry out Trump’s requests.
Letters And Loyalty
The book also claims Harp left Trump deeply admiring personal notes.
In one, she reportedly wrote: “You are all that matters to me.”
Trump, in turn, reportedly told others that Harp was the only person in the White House who appreciated him as much as his wife and family.
At one meeting, he allegedly said: “All of you will go off and make money — she’ll never leave me.”
According to the book, Trump even pronounces her first name with a French-sounding twist: “Nathalie.”
Melania Moment Adds To The Talk
One detail has drawn particular attention in Washington.
First Lady Melania Trump reportedly once saw Harp bringing documents to the president late at night in the private residence.
That kind of episode helps explain why the latest comments from Harp’s brother have landed on fertile ground.
Natalie Harp may not hold one of the flashiest titles in Washington. But inside Trump’s second-term White House, she appears to hold something more valuable: access, trust and proximity to the president.
